Nearly the weekend, nearly time for some Tactical Nuclear Penguin

Oddly enough, if you're in the Peel at the right time on Saturday, I'm planning to crack my bottle of Tactical Nuclear Penguin open and distribute it as 25ml shots, FoC.

It doesn't seem worth keeping it now it has lost it's title as World's Strongest Beer - some bloomin' Germans created a 40% ABV brew called 'Bismarck' that out trumps TNP's 32%. Thankfully, Brew Dog responded a couple of weeks ago with a 41% beer, wonderfully titled 'Sink the Bismarck', so they still hold the strongest beer record.

On the news it said more the 50% of pub users buy their drinks using chip & pin debit cards, I can't recall seeing anyone in the places I go to use that method, maybe the reporter was thinking of trendy wine bars.

I did buy a bottle using my phone in Belgium, just to see how it worked, and it took about 5 times as long to get a drink as normal, what's the point, there's enough twats standing at the bar as it is, without numpties playing with their 'flexible friend' and stopping me from spending money.
